The design competition is open to all ITE students across Singapore. The top 10 shortlisted entries will be exhibited at the IHH Healthcare x Singapore Sea Regatta 2025 on 13 - 14 September.

From these, 3 outstanding entries will be selected as winners and awarded cash prizes.

COMPETITION BRIEF

I'M STILL HERE

Mental health isn't always obvious. It can be loud, quiet, messy, hidden – and more often than not, misunderstood.

​

This competition invites you to visualise the parts of mental health that go unseen. Not the dramatic moments, but the quiet strength it takes to keep going. The everyday resilience people don't always notice.

​

Your design should honour what it means to survive – whether it's your own experience or someone else's it. It could be about living with difficult thoughts, navigating emotional ups and downs, or simply trying to stay afloat.

​

But this isn't about creating something sad or heavy for the sake of it. We're looking for honest, thoughtful work – pieces that reflect the complexity of mental health, and the strength, care, and small wins that come with it.

​

Your artwork is a chance to make the invisible visible – and to remind people that surviving is something worth seeing.

IMPORTANT

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

  • This competition is open to all current students in ITE.

  • Once confirmed, 10 selected winners will be notified to submit their High-Res files.​

  • The judge's decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • Each participant may only submit 1 entry.

  • To ensure that the entries submitted are received successfully, each artwork submitted online and all digital artworks should be named in the following format:
    [Full School Name - where applicable]_[Participant Full Name]_[Student ID]
    e.g., ITECC_John Doe_12345.pdf

  • For traditional artwork submissions, participants must submit a PDF of their work. If selected, the original physical artwork will be showcased at the event.

  • The use of generative AI tools to create final submissions are not allowed.

  • Participants may use AI tools for inspiration, research, or idea development, but the final artwork must be fully original and created by the participant.

  • Plagiarism - including direct copying, tracing, or submitting AI-generated content as original work - is strictly prohibited. Submissions will be reviewed using software checks. Participants found in violation will be disqualified.

Digital Artworks

  • Required size: W594mm x H841mm at a minimum effective resolution of 300 dpi for photographic/print-based entries.

  • For artwork designed using Adobe Illustrator, the minimum artboard/canvas size should be A1 size with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Submissions must be in .pdf format (smallest file size possible). If your work is shortlisted, we will request the high-resolution print file separately.

  • For artwork designed using Adobe Photoshop, the minimum artboard/canvas size should be A1 size with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

  • Outlines must be created for all fonts.

  • Please do not include any p[rint embellishments (such as foiling or embossing) or Pantone Spot Colours.

Traditional Artworks

  • For traditional artwork submissions, participants must submit a PDF of their work. If selected, the original physical artwork will be showcased at the event.

JUDGING CRITERIA

  1. Adherence to theme.

  2. Aesthetics quality.

  3. Technical merit.

  4. Inventiveness & creativity.

  5. Personal response (or artist statement).

WINNING ENTRIES

  1. 10 entries will be chosen to be showcased at the IHH Healthcare x Singapore Sea Regatta 2025 event, held on 13 - 14 September 2025.

  2. Prizes: Each participant will be awarded a Certificate of Participation by CRRADE Agency & Singapore Sea Regatta.

  3. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners will respectively receive in Singapore Dollars (S$), $300, $200, and $100. These awards will be announced and presented during the IHH Healthcare x Singapore Sea Regatta 2025 event on either 13 or 14 September 2025, with the exact date and time to be confirmed. Winning entries may also be showcased in the offices or dedicated spaces of our sponsors and partners. Additionally, the artworks may be featured across marketing platforms and websites to give students greater exposure and recognition.
