THE
ROJAK RACE
The Rojak Race – A Celebration of Unity in the Dragonboat Community
The Rojak Race is a unique and spirited dragonboat race designed to break boundaries and bring people together — just like the dish it's named after. In this one-of-a-kind event, participants from different teams are mixed to form new, diverse crews. Instead of racing with their usual teammates, paddlers must collaborate with strangers-turned-friends from across the local and international dragonboat community.

The primary aim of the Rojak Race is to promote interaction, understanding, and camaraderie among paddlers from all walks of life. More than just a race, the Rojak Race is about building bridges. It unites local and international teams on a shared platform, creating opportunities to connect beyond borders. Another key highlight is the inclusion of paddlers from both public and private healthcare sectors — offering a rare opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow relationships beyond the workplace.

Through shared effort, teamwork, and the thrill of competition, the Rojak Race not only exemplifies the spirit of inclusivity but also reinforces the core values of unity, respect, and collaboration that lie at the heart of the sport.
